Canvassing Commercial Drive: Off Our Seats and Into the Streets

What: Canvassing Commercial Drive

When: Saturday, February 21st. Canvass: 12:30 - 5:00 PM ~ Dinner at Harambe: 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Where: Polling stations 55, 57, 58, 74, 75, 76, 77, 92, 93 (see map - attached)

-These stations are encompassed by Commercial Dr. to the West, Victoria Dr. to the East, Venables Ave. to the North and Broadway Ave. to the South

We will meet at the Britannia branch* of the Vancouver Public Library at 12:30 on Saturday, February 21st. Here we will provide canvassing materials and talk about our strategy for the day. Our orientation leaders are very comfortable canvassing for STV and will ensure you leave Britannia with a high comfort level yourself. We will also try and pair everyone with an experienced partner to share the afternoon with because, as the Finns say, "shared fun is twice the fun." Our plan will be to canvass from Venables/Commercial in the NW of our area to the corner of Victoria and Broadway in the SE. Once we have this completed we will reassemble at Harambe on the Drive to swap tales from the street and eat delicious Ethiopian cuisine!
